Going from strength to strength, we provide a huge range of training for volunteers and community groups throughout the region.

Based in Hartlepool, SkillShare NE is a community-focused training organisation that operates across the whole of the North East region. We seek to promote training and development for community and voluntary groups. Ultimately, the organisation aims to empower and strengthen the third sector.

SkillShare's staff are united in their determination to provide a wide range of very high quality, bespoke training programmes that meet the specific needs of community groups.

We deliver an extensive range of OCN learning, including: Introduction to Managing Voluntary and Community Organisations; and Effective Community Involvement and Engagement.

The SkillShare team pick up their prestigious VONNE award for Best Support Organisation, from Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson. The VONNE awards recognised the work of individuals and Voluntary and Community Sector organisations from across the region, in helping to develop our communities.
